Hahaha :) So of course I chose http://www.blogger.com/ because it's through Google. I absolutely love Google! I've always been a loyal fan, and have never used bing, yahoo, or the ancient askjeeves unless Google is down for maintenance. Google's page is very functional, and I can always find what I'm looking for. I know it's a search engine, but it still counts as a website because it has a URL! I was going to use wordpress, but it never sent me an email confirmation so I could start creating my profile. So! I just used this, and I figured I'd come back to it. I was just too EXCITED to get started and I couldn't wait anymore.
I use Google for all my researching uses, whether it's for a paper, a question I have, or to look up a singer of a song that I've had stuck in my head for days and it's been bugging me. I use Google for anything and everything, which is why I want to become an employee or an intern for them. I know that the chances are slim, but I'm willing to put in the long hours and effort to have the privelege of working for a top company and hopefully staying there and providing some use of my skills.
Another feature that I love about Google's page, is if you mispell something that you're searching for, they'll put a variety of possibilities of what you're looking for and you can click on the one that you meant to type in the first place. I don't mispell things often, but when I'm in a rush I just want to hurry up and find what I'm looking for. I also like the fact that I have the option of it remembering my frequent searches, because I hate having a huge list of bookmarks to search through.
I'm going to add some cheat sheet links, as well as helpful hints along the way to try and help everyone out. I always love to share what I find :)

Below are a list of HTML cheat sheet links that I will be adding to over time. I find this to be very useful information when I need to recap on the basics.

http://www.webmonkey.com/2010/02/html_cheatsheet/

http://psacake.com/web/dy.asp

http://cedesign.net/help2j.htm
